Itinerary Detail

Day 1 Arrive Leh

Arrival at Leh Airport, meet our representative and and transfer to the hotel. We recommend full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). You can take an orientation walk to the City Centre in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

Dinner

Day 2 Leh - Alchi - Leh (66 km / 1:30 hrs approx.)

Morning after breakfast we will take you on the full day excurision trip to Alchi. Enroute visit Military Hall of Fame, Magnatic Hill - a natural wonder of the region, Likir Monastery and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Arrive Alchi and visit Alchi monastery and village, Basgo Palace. Drive back to Leh in the afternoon.

Breakfast and Dinner

Day 3 Leh - Khardung La Pass - Nubra Valley (160 km / 4:30 hrs approx.)

After breakfast leave for 4/5 hrs drive (160 kms) will take you to Nubra Valley. En-route stop at Khardungla pass (5600mts) - the world's highest motorable road, which finds its way in Guiness book of world records. After spending some time continue drive on to Nubra Valley. Then pass through a bridge laid on Glaciers will lead you to Deskit, Check in at camping. Afternoon visit Diskit Monastery and walk around the town of Diskit.

Breakfast and Dinner

Day 4 Nubra Valley (Hunder and Diskit) to Pangong Lake

Morning after breakfast visit Sumoor and Panamic, which is famous for its hot sulphur springs. Explore Deskit, Hunder villages and Camel safari in sand Dunes (cost not included). Afternoon drive to Pangong. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Arrive and check-in at Camps. Dinner and overnight at the Camps.

Day 5 Pangong Lake - Leh

After breakfast enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake is the highest salt water Lake in the World around 140km long and 3-5km wide. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view on the Banks of Pangong. Afternoon checkout and drive back to Leh and relax. Evening free for independent activities. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
